I am a photographer/digital artist based in Scotland. I grew up with a passion for art and eventually stumbled into photography and Photoshop. Most of my influence and inspiration comes from artists such as Magritte, Dali and the way Rembrandt could create light, but i also take inspirations from film and music to create images of my wildest dreams and imagination.
I guess we all aspire to either capture an image or create something that will be remembered. Either as an iconic image, or a record of an important event, but for me I also aspire to be able to capture/recreate people’s dreams and bring them into my art so they can enjoy and relive them
Through art and photography i have found a way to express my passions, fears and express my emotions. having suffered with depression this was a way to recover, and perhaps my images and ‘worlds’ can help others to do the same, either through appreciating them, or inspiring others to find a way to express themselves. Everyone sees life in different ways, and often people can see the same thing, but in themselves see it very differently. My art is a glimpse of my view
